Any work by Etienne is hot, even when he was Stephen! His drawings are always great, and he had a vivid imagination to draw about monkeys stealing the guys clothes!! I wonder if he remembered a piece from Little Orphan Annie where her monkey, (I can’t remember his name), is caught and put in a zoo with all the other monkeys! Except he was smarter than the average monkey, (his name might have been Elwood???) and he soon leads all the monkeys to revolt. I always remember when the two workers went into the cage then all the monkeys attacked and stripped them naked. They were then shown in the cage hunkered down naked and locked in while the monkeys all escaped. Etienne’s work here reminds me of that old long forgotten “cartoon”. Guess monkeys have to have their fun too!!!
